richard rejoined the club and this was his first sail and on MBM.
we planned an eearly launch as the weather was set to increase. at first it was lighter than expected.
we headed to towards ballard to see the cliffs and the effect from the storms.
we thought it ok to head on the old harry and eventually onto poole bar bouy. we headed around the mark infront of a big sunseeker which i had guessed was eddie jordans new 32m pound super yacht.
we got reallt close and must have got them worried as a chase boat came up close to us and started waving.
they were filming her on sea trials.
we proceeded back to swanage beating all the way, still observing the cliff erosion.
we made it into the bay to meet with gary and lauren who were reaching up and down on some big rollers that had formed in the bay. richard got out on the trapeze and did very well as he hadnt been on the wire for a few years. we had one close call when we almost went over but headed up in time.
after about an hour and 20 we headed in to help with the beach clear up after the storms.
