i had no crew so planned to sail solo, when i arrived the boat was ok after the winter winds over xmas.
gary showed with lauren to sail the club boat and then simon showed as well. the wind picked up around 1030 and we launched to be hit by a sqaul that passed over, the winds picked up from nothing to over 20knots. it was good fun and at times we had to adjust incase we got blown over. simon said we didnt need the trapeze lol.
we basically reached up and down with gary and phil sailing solo. phil did have a jib initially but went in to take it off. after ward the wind died.
for a first sail since september bournmouth race i was very pleased.
we sailed for about 1h 30.
a nice pint in the clubhouse and bacon sarnie and off home.
not sure how much sailing will be down this year due to job change we will have to see.
